Jaumëtic et Citizen Kain chez Harthouse Mannheim
En résumé: Le duo Jaumëtic et Citizen Kain vient tout juste de signé avec le label de renommée Harthouse Mannheim. Ils produiront tout deux un titre pour la compilation du label.
Le toute: Jaumëtic and Citizen Kain have signed up with legendary label Harthouse Mannheim. Both artists will contribute each one with a track in the new label compilation, which will be out on December and which will also have appearances by Der Dritte Raum, Billy Dalessandro, Space Lab and Boris Brejcha, among other artists. Plus, the agreement with the label includes the release of a few 12” along 2008.
Harthouse was founded in 1991 in Frankfurt by Sven Väth, Heinz Roth and Matthias Hoffmann. In 1997, a few months after Väth and Hoffmann left the label, it had to declare insolvency. In 98, it was bought by a new company, and A&R job was given to Oliver Bonzio (half of acid house duo Hardfloor, one of the biggest stars of the original Harthouse). But in 2003 this project went also bankrupt. Finally, a year later, the brand was acquired by Daredo and renamed Harthouse Mannheim. In this last stage the label has built up an impressive roster which includes top artists as Zoo Brasil, Alexi Delano, Gui Boratto, Der Dritte Raum and Joel Mull.
Jaumëtic has also finished work on his new 12” for Regular. It’s name will be Maldito cometa maníaco and it will be out on December 18th.
Regular’s boss says goodbye to a good year for him with still another good news: four nominations at the Deejaymags awards (www.deejaymags.com). He runs for best label (Regular), best CD done by a deejay (his label’s compilation 5 years of regularity), best techno deejay, and best deejay of the year (the most important prize, it includes disc-jockeys of every style). The awards gala, organized by Deejay magazine, wil take place on February 6th 2008 at Teatro Kapital, Madrid.
Citizen Kain has also signed with My Best Friend, Traum Schallplatten sublabel. His first release is called Doppelgänger EP and it will be out in mid January..
