Armin van Buuren: DJMag's top 3 for the 8th time

Le toute: Amsterdam, October 21st 2011 – This year, Armin van Buuren has been voted to number 2 most popular DJ in the world. Last year, the Dutch DJ/producer was the first DJ in history to be voted number one for four years running. This year, it’s the 8th time he’s featured in the Top 3, and takes in the much-wanted second place of the popularity poll of the DJ Mag. He is listed as the highest trance DJ.

The results of the critically acclaimed British DJ Magazine Top 100 were presented in the Amsterdam-based Passenger Terminal, where the awards for the Top 3 and higest new entries were awarded. David Guetta, who’s track with Usher ‘Without You’ was recently remixes by Armin, was voted number one DJ for the first time in his career.

Armin van Buuren:”First of all, I’d like to send a big thank you to everyone that voted for me. Without the support of my fans, I never would have been where I am today. I’ve had the honour of being number one for 4 years in a row, but now it’s time for David to top the poll. I’d like to congratulate him on this incredible feat!”.
