Thus, in its 14th edition to be held at Pacha Ibiza, the DJ Awards focuses on the celebration of the electronic dance music scene, and seeks to let the world know that the art of DJ'ing is a respected craft with world-wide impact. It is also one of the longest running award ceremonies in the world, whilst enviably still retaining the same ethos as it did when it first started; to honour and celebrate DJs and individuals who have influenced dance music across the globe.

Marco Carola has been chosen from among the 8 most important figures of the Techno scene. Congratulations Marco!
