Uptide Records Music Department was created and established by Mirko Ruge in 1991. Few years later became DJ Arne L. II a member of Uptide, in the year 1996 followed the label "Deep Mission" and in 1999 "Deep Mission Trance". Untill now is Uptide Records northern germany's oldest Trance- and Techno-label.
Der Name Mirko Milano steht für hard grooves und stomping sounds. Der Norddeutsche produzierte über 20 Maxis mit Künstlern wie Sam Saviny, Arne L. II und Oliver Fischer. Compilations wie "Clubnation 3" stellte Mirko Ruge zusammen, 30 Maxis remixte er für Gary D. (PIAS), Edlim (Wea), Mark Scoozy (No Respect Rec.), Embargo (Alpabet City) , Essential DJ Team "We Hate To Rock" ( Unsubmassive) , The Moon "Blow the Speaker" (BYT Belgien ) und viele andere. Er legte bereits in Dänmark, Schweiz, Spanien und England auf - und an Events wie Love Parade, Palladium, Tunnel, Phonodrome, Re-Base, Sea-Terminal, Seal, Energy, Goliath. Vor zehn Jahren gründete er Uptide Rec. in Fockebek, das älteste nordeutsche Techno-Label. 1996 formierte er mit Arne L. II Deep Mission Rec. und 1999 Deep Mission Trance. Sein grösster Hit "Stopp & Go" (Deep Mission 18) erreichte #4 der DDC, #5 der UK's Massive Charts und Top 80 der Media Control.
